With 100+ live actors prepared to make you scream and shriek, this interactive experience will require visitors to climb up, jump over and crawl through their 40,000 square foot building.

Field of Terror is another horrifying outing for your family in New Jersey. This farm is a place where genetic experiments went awry; where Farmer Frank experimented with creating a greater form of human life and attempted to cross the genetics of local townspeople and his crops. His misfits now roam the farm with zombies of all shapes and sizes. Four unique terror filled attractions and night activities like Circus of Terror Paintball are just some of your options at Field of Terror, sure to get your adrenaline pumping. They also provide cozy bonfires, DJ music and night pumpkin picking for the youngsters.

Another outdoorsy Halloween family outing is the Annual Scarecrow Stroll in Cranford, New Jersey. Bring the kids as they’ll marvel at all the scarecrows built, conceived and displayed in the windows of the local shops and businesses. Enjoy the restaurants, ice creams shops and top notch kid’s consignment store as you stroll downtown Cranford and choose your favorite scarecrow.

The Brighton Asylum featured on the Today Show boasts the scariest, most interactive attraction in New Jersey. Shut down in 1952 after mysterious staff and patient disappearances, the asylum was fully renovated in 2016, now features horrifying escape rooms, their newest attraction,“The Bleeding Grounds” and award winning sets. Ride their 75 year old unreliable, often violent elevator system or prepare to undergo a series of tests by Brighton’s own research team.

Turtle Back Zoo has a special Halloween program with candy stations and stilt walkers combing the grounds as well as their train, Carousel, Touch Tank & Reptile House for all to enjoy. Halloween costumes are welcome and shows throughout the evening will bring Halloween to life, incorporating the animals and the whole family for this fun-filled, “sweet” event.

New Jersey has a lot of fun options for you, and your family this Halloween. We hope you enjoy these fun events. Happy Halloween!
